Station North Project

Station North is located in the heart of Baltimore and was the first area in Baltimore to receive the State designation as an Arts & Entertainment District in 2002. It consists of multiple neighborhoods; it’s a diverse collection of artist live-work spaces, galleries, rowhomes, and businesses. There are now 22 Arts & Entertainment Districts in Maryland, and similar programs in dozens of states. As a school project every student had to create a different piece to promote the district and the top projects were presented at the State House in Annapolis in support of the Arts & Entertainment District. I decided to create a pretend movie that was to portray the life of a young man, whose family moves to Station North and all of his trials and tribulations. I wrote a synopsis of the film and created promotional pieces: a poster and a dvd; for the made up film.

Synopsis
Station North is a real place located in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a promotional DVD for the upcoming movie, titled “Finding Station North.” The movie portrays a young boy who is thrust into a world far from what he has known. This is a story about his struggles, with life, in Station North and how he finds himself.

Before he can find home and love, he has to find himself.
